Tricia,

I am so very sorry for you and your family.  I will pray for your mother and all of your family.

We are asked to do some very hard things in this life.  My husband of 44 years is entering the last stages of glio sarcoma IV - so like most people on this sight we know how your heart is breaking.  Make memories with her, take lots of pictures with her family, give her strength by sharing your love for her and most of all keep your focus on the Lord.  He know our every need.

When I read your post, I remembered something that was in my church bulletin this AM.  It goes like this, and maybe God put it there for me to relay to you.

God has a thousand ways,

Where I cannot see one,

When all my ways have reached the end,

Then His have just begun.

I had esphageal cancer in 2004 with a very poor prognosis.  Surgery, chemo and radiation and lots of prayers later I will soon be five years out.  I have heard of people that was sent home with no treatment and with no hope of ever getting better, that are alive years later.  Who knows what God has in store for you and your family.  No one.  So we will just pray every day for wonderful things to happen for you, your Mom and every one who loves your mother.  Just love her and cherish every moment and we will all pray for good things to happen.

God Bless you!

Gerri
