I'm coming into this late, but what did you decide to do? I think your doctor sounds great, in that she wanted you to be as educated as possible to make an informed decision. Too many doctors push the most inexpensive treatment option on women as the only choice, regardless of whether or not it's the best surgery for a woman.
Let me give you some links that would explain the different options to you if you still aren't sure.
This is older, but the info is very concise. If your go to the home page, it will also give a good overview of CIN.

Here is one of the few doctors I have encountered who still knows each case of dysplasia is different and each woman's body is different, so treatment has to be customized. He doesn't push the most inexpensive treatment option on women as the only choice.

If you have already had the surgery, let me give you links to help boost your immune system. The first is from a woman who cleared up dysplasia through alternative means. But she also thoroughly educated herself, first, so that her decision was informed.

This is the second link. A wonderful woman posted the Green Drink, which I have absolutely enjoyed! Some people may regard their vegetable as "icky." But I love vegetables, especially leafy greens.

Again, I am truly impressed with your doctor! I wish more of them were like her.
