Iguess I can say Hi to everyone here and that would be a start, so Hi everyone. I just resently had surgery for Colon cancer and I am on the mend. Now I face the treatment and that is a bit of a chalange for me. I am being treated here in Elkins WV and the Dr. I am see recomended 5- FU along with Leukovorin, followed up with Oxaliplatin for 12 treatments in two week intervals. For those of you that have gone through this does this sound reasonable or am I getting into something I should get a second on?

Hey,my first time too! I was dx colorectal cancer in june.2 surgeries 1 for tumor removal,1 for infected. Now, I'm on my 3rd treatment tomorow. My treatments are the same as yours.I'm not going say that you need a second opinion, but I never got one either. I'm just kinda goin through it.It's not a bad idea though. What state are you in? I'm just gonna do this with the desperate hopes of it not returningand finding my next smile.  Anyway, crappy situations, but we gotta get through this storm,....right?----Jason1010
