RE: Prayers and advice

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on 10/24 and had surgery on 11/4. Chemo is scheduled on 12/2. I understand your feelings and pray for both you and your wife. The Lord gave me a word at Church about 3 weeks ago and all my fear was taken away. I know the Lord will comfort, strengthen, prepare both of you for this journey. May He fill both of your hearts with His peace, His love and His wisdom. RA755

RE: Prayers and advice

My world was rocked about 4 years ago when I too was diagnosed with the dreaded "Breast C" word. I had a lumpectomy, followed by chemo and radiation. All I can say is that our GOD is so awesome!!!!! He gave me strength not day by day but second by second to endure what layed ahead of me. He provided me with excellent doctors and a great support team of friends and family, but most of all HIS love and grace. Tell your wife that I for sure will keep her in my prayers and will ask God to give her that second by second strength. One thing that helped me get through the chemo was that I drank lots and lots of water, while I was getting my treatments and after. Praise God, I was not very sick at all during treatments. I actually continued working just about every day.My prayers will be with you both!! J

Prayers and advice

Eight days ago my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.she had her first lot of chemotherapy yesterday. The plan is to reduce the size of the tumours, to allow the surgeon to have a better chance of removing all the cancer when he does a Mastectomy in 4/5 months. It would be an understatement to say our world has been rocked. My wonderful wife is terrified that the cancer has spread further.we are waiting on the results of a bone scan, she is having a CT scan this evening. The nurses and the Doctors are very helpful regarding explanations of procedures, they are also encouraging us to take advantage of some of the alternative therapy's at a local centre, they do Hypnosis, Rieki,Reflexology etc...As Christians we are aware that not alternative medicines are good, especially those that invade mind and spirit, you don't realise how vulnerable you are until your put to the test ? Could you please pray for my wife`s safe passage on this journey and also that God blesses us with the gift of discernment, and guides and protects us from the enemy`s crafty and deceitful ways.I thank God for this site and may he bless all the people who are involved in it and all who view it.N Jeru
