im writing this to understand whats going on with my sister,shes 37y/o  diagnoised with bladder cancer biopsy showed 3 types of cancer including small cell in the muscle in june...cesplatin and 2 others were given for chemo 3days a week then off 2 weeks...it didnt touch small cell cleared other two types tho.cystecomy  hysterectomy  biopsy with removal 3 lympnodes on oct 30th discharged on nov6th.she was told to call set up an appoint with oncologist after discharged she called next day her next appointment is a month away  ""whats up""then there going to want to do a bone scan that can add another two weeks on to that.im totally amased i thought small cell was aggressive.karmonos new she was in advanced staged so by the time she starts next chemo she would of had small cell for 6months.....is this normal??..aggressive cancer i thought needed aggressive treatment.she is a mother of 3kids..what would be a good combo for her next round of chemo?what about altermative med???thank you  brother bob

  Hello: I was with karmonos. Who is her Dr. Have they sugested removal yet. I can not answer your ? but I would think they know what they are doing. They did not do my surgery due to I wanted robotics. They said they did not have a lot of experance with the robotics. Although I had a great Dr there that found it again after remision for 8 months. I was seeing Dr. Pontis over on North western Hgy. If I can help anymore let me know. Don  Sktpilot
