Anybody Been Through Stage 3 A Adenocarcinoma Of Lung With Infiltration Of Mediastinal And Hilum?

I have just been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma (moderately differentiated from the biopsy report) My tumor is large (9cm) in the upper right lobe posterior segment transgressing the upper oblique fissure into the apical segment of the right lower lobe. There is infiltration into the adjacent mediastinum and the right hilum. Rest of lungs are clear. No pleural effusion. Pathologists have classified this as Stage 3A spread.

Anybody can offer some insight into prognosis, where best to go and ideally anybody in the same situation ....what treatment regime did you go through and how is progress?

My father had been diagnosed with a stage 3A. today.
Radiotherapy and chemo for 3-4 months was the suggestion.
