I am about to give up.

I have a Lump in my right Breast and I Have Pain And Burning in it all the time.I am 45 year old. and I had this lump send 2007 but now it got biger.they want'ed to take it out.but now they chang there mind.I ask them what was the lump. but they could'nt till me for they was not sure what it is. so they told me to just come back next year for they nothing they can do for me. But I know in my Heart they got to be somthing a m.d. could do for me But I just Don't know what. for if it breast cancer I"LL like to know. so I call cancer treatment centerset america and they told me to go to aother m.d. and talk to them about it. see what they can do for me. so I am going to try one more time. and if that m.d can't help me I am just giveing up. for my love one's don't want me to talk to them about it anymore for they say they geting sick of talking about it. and geting sick of takeing me to see the m.d. about my breast but they don't unstand I am worry. for they Don't unstand I am sick of hurting . so now I don't say anything about it to them anymore. and when I go to hurting I just don't let them know for I just go on like nothing a wong whit me.

Do Not give up.  Last June I too had a lump in my right breast.  I also had the terrible burning and pain.

I went to my gynecologist and she ordered a mammagram.  It showed nothing.  I asked her to order a sonogram, but she said she saw no reason to.

Two days I went to a nurse practioner not too far from my home.  She felt the lump and instantly ordered a sonogram.  She called me the next day with an appointment with a surgeon. 

He took the lump out.  It was a fatty tumor which was not malignant.  It was wrapped around some nerves which caused the burning.

You go to another physician.  I don't know if you have had a mammagram or not.  I do not trust them any more.  Tell your physician to order a sonogram of your breast.  I know from experience that you have to be persistant.  It is your body!!!

Let me know how you come out.  By the way, I have NO MORE PAIN  in this breast!!!

Cancer Treatment Center's advice was good:  go see another dr. 

Even if this is NOT cancer, it is still causing you a lot of pain, and that interferes with your life.  The lump is proven to be there - ask for a sonogram so they can characterize the lump (see what it looks like.)  At the very least, I would think that a needle biopsy would be appropriate.  I also think that since this is causing significant pain, removal would be appropriate even if the lump is benign.

As for your family, they are not the ones suffering - YOU are. Please do whatever you have to do to get this taken care of, even if it means you have to be very assertive with the drs.  This is YOUR life, YOUR discomfort, and YOUR need for well-being.  Do not take NO for an answer.

Yes I know what you are feeling! Almost everyone goes through being sad and angry! I also had breast Cancer and had my left breast removed. I didn't have reconstruction b/c I had read how much trouble some have with the implants. BUT we as human beings do not understand that we can not make things right with ourselves or anyone else! We have to talk to our creator and ask him what lesson can I learn from this? Turn this over to God and ask him to see you through, that's what I did. I was allergic to all the pain killing drugs and had hives all over me from the Morphine! I said Lord you have to ease my pain b/c I can't take the drugs to numb me. Guess what---I had NO PAIN  at all and that is almost unheard of,after a mastectomy.YOU see our trouble is trying to fix it ourself and we can't,so now we have to turn it over to God and TRUST him to fix our MIND,BODY and SOUL. And he will!!! Dr's and nurses are just helping God out by taking care of his children,BUT the real healing take place under God wonderful hands,that he gives so freely to us.All that he ask in return is our faith and trust in him. No bills in the mail ,just your love for him! I will pray for you and ask God to comfort you and see you through it all. Hugs Shirley

HI, I'm a male ,I know the pain that you're going through ! Mine was a
tumor, the reason it burned & hurt so bad was,  that the tumor
was growing my doctor operated right away ! on ascale 1-4 ,my cancer
was 3.5 . They took off my left breast ,9 lymphnodes witch was
cancerous I had 8 major chemos 33 radiations I was out of work 1 year
,I've been back since 1/25/08  If you can get it out do it /also
go to another doctor ! So far I've really done great  ! Respond
