Bonsy,

My derm RX'd me 28 days 2X daily.  I too had put in for time off but found that although unsightly I did not miss any work time at all.

I work Parent Education at a hospital so I do have contact with patients daily (some did look at me rather horrified) but I would explain to them that I was undergoing treatment for SCC to ease their mind.

If you don't see many people other than your co-workers a work you should be fine, I'm sure they will understand what you are going through.

It has been one week post-treatment.  My face is healing quite well, the skin pink and radiant a few more sores to heal but I am so glad I did this rather than opting for a permanent scar.

You will do well.  If you have any questions just ask.

Happy Holidays,

Michelle

Hi Michelle, Well I'm just finishing up day 11 and like you, so far it hasn't felt as bad as I expected.  Does looks pretty bad tho.  I think I'll take your advice and start using the Aquaphor between applications.  I've just been using my regular Almay which stings a little but no big deal.  Funny thing is everyone seems to know someone who has done this treatment, but I swear I've never seen anyone walking around looking like this.  You were brave to go to work!  You must be feeling pretty great by now. Thanks again for responding
