Hip Pain

Started to have hip pain on my left side a few weeks ago and it has been getting steadily worse. Had a bone scan done on Thursay found some small spots but they werent able to determine what they were. Now I have an MRI scheduled on Monday. At it's worst, when I walk it feels as if my leg is going to give out. Otherwise, it is just a dull pain.

Anyone had similar experiences

Hi Terryjoe  there are two types of electrics devices that can get to  be use on pain one called a tens machine  the other a magnetic pulsar I have both and I think the magnetic pulsea  a better option as it will deadened any type of pain in a mater of minutes it had a kind of paddle you put over any painful area in a minute or so the pain gone all so  while using it you cant feel it working than the pain just go’s if you do a search on the net you’ll find one in your area I know they do cost a couple of hundred but well worth it  hope this helps Ray

Hi,

My husband hurts in several places.  He went to see the rheumatologist and he has polyarthritis which sometimes goes along with MRCC.  The doctor said because he only has the one kidney there was not much he could prescribe.  He told him to take tylenol as needed.  Since he has started taking pain medication for the cancer, it has helped him with the aches and pains of the arthritis.  I don't know if this could be what is causing your pain but thought I would share the information for you to ask your doctor about.

Good luck and God Bless!

Sandi (Jeff's girl)
