Hello all,
I have been slowly getting sicker over the last year. Last Dec I went to the doctor for headaches and they found a mass in my liver. The doctor said that it is not cancer. My insurance went into effect Nov of this year so I went to the doctor thinking that the mass may have gotten bigger pushing on my stomach causing me to get sick. I have diarrhea and vomiting every time I eat and sometimes without even eating. They did a CBC on me and it came back with high level of absolute eosinophils 1214 the first time and a week later the doctor wanted to recheck it just to see if it was still high which it was came back as 1274 (normal being 1-500). They did another MRI on my liver and it had not gotten any bigger which is good. I just had a light run to my stomach and will get the results from that on Monday but the doctor said everything looked fine but did some biopyies. I went to an allergist to see if I was allergic to any foods and the allergist said that he did not think it had anything to do with food. So my family doctor thinks that I am allergic to food, the GI doctor thinks that I may be allergic to my own intestinal walls (which he said is very rare) and the allergist does not think that it has anything to do with food or my intestinal walls but will not say what he thinks it is. I was just wondering if it could possibly be a type of leukemia. Some of my other problems are sweating at night some, pain in my stomach area, pain in my knees and hip bone and I am very very tired all the time. Please let me know what you think and if I should ask the doctor if leukemia could be a possibility.
THanks
