Hi my name is Erica. I'm 24 years old and was recently diagnosed with stage 2A hodgkins lymphoma.  I went to 2 different doctors to get opinions on treatment.  One doctor suggested 4 cycles of ABVD, while another suggested 6 cycles of ABVD.  I know it all depends on what the scans show, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there who did only 4 cycles?

This is all pretty new and scary to me so I was looking for any survivors who have advice for me.

I had hodgkins 12 years ago, I did 4 cycles of ABVD, I was supposed to do  localized radiation as well, which I did not follow through with the radiation. I had only stage 1A, nodular sclerosing Hodgkins.

We got several recommendations from different doctors and prayed a lot for wisdom and direction.  And kept praying until we had peace.  God is faithful.

I'm very thankful, I've been blessed with a busy, active life with my family and friends.  The only thing I struggle with in recent years is asthma symptoms, which may or may not be from the chemo..I don't know.

God bless, be strong you'll get through this..keeping you in prayer...
