Has anyone done it on the hands?  Can you still use your fingers to type etc or is it too painful.

I am supposed to start now but may try and waittil after the holidays - how bad do the hands look? Are gloves painful or a good cover up?

What works for pain? Itch?  did you also take any antibiotics or antibiotic creams?

Thanks for any and all info

Jo

Hi Jo,

I have been on the treatment for almost three weeks.  I don't find it as miserable as most say.  I've had a lot of sun exposure in my life.....now i"m an Esthetician and very concerned about how my skin will look and feel in the years ahead. I think this approach is easier and a lot less expensive and time consuming than excision and burning. so i say I'm thrilled with the slight discomfort. So suck it up- it will be worth it. Gloves are fine..You can type.I will wear long sleaves to parties and apply a bit of make up.  use the experiance to talk about  the danger of toooomuch sun

are your hands scabbing or just turning bright red ? Are you using any of the pain meds or itching meds the people mentioned who did the treatments on their face?
