For those of you who have been on the message board system, you'll know my name and my dad's success story (celebrating 4 years post diagnosis this month from colon cancer with liver mets (and lung)) In any event, there are many things we can attribute to his success - including great support by family and friends...great attitude...and of course outstanding medical care! For those of you on this site - liver cancer - I want you to know of one of the best docs in the country (he's been on 60 minutes, etc.) is also one with one of the best bedside manners and has helped MANY folks from this message board system...Dr. David Geller from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Liver Cancer Center. Even if you have another kind of cancer, he is often a great resource. He has been so instrumental in our success - and so many others. He will actually email you back if you send him your story. If you are close by, you can make an appt, but he is just out of this world fantastic!
His contact info is:
