Don't want to see a doctor

About 6 years ago I discovered a growth in the scrotum, extending from the testicle upwards.  At that point in time I was too freaked out and just skipped the whole thing.

I have however been experiencing worse symptoms than before and started doing some research.  I found that I have ALL of the listed symptoms for testicular cancer.  Also, since the last TSE till now, the growth seems to have doubled in size.

I would like to have a diagnosis done and have clarity on the situation, but dont want to see a doctor.  Also, I dont have a medical aid scheme and wouldn't be able to afford the tests .

Does anyone know the approx. cost for the blood tests or a biopsy ?

Hi:

Hopefully you have already visited your doctor by now. Don't worry about the costs (probably about $1,500 to $2k), your health is first. I had stage 1 testicular cancer last February and it sounded nothing like your signs. Mine was a tumor in the left testical that I can feel as a hard immovable lump. They removed the testi and all is well. You could have a blockage and infection of the tube that carries sprem. Obviously less severe than the C word. Go have it looked at.

Happy new year!
