Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a 42 year old married mother of two one almost eight and one almost two.  I originally had breast cancer in 2004 and it has come back in may of 2007.   I chose alternative treatment up until my last scan in October where it has spread all over including my liver and lungs.  I am getting chemotherapy once a week Taxol and once a month  I get Aredia.  I get treatments every Tuesday and I am doing well with them.  I would love to hear from anyone who has had success in shrinking cancer in liver and lungs.I just finished my fifth chemo treatment last Tuesday.

Michelle,

I am very sorry to hear of your reoccurance.

What inspired you to not undergo conventional therapy?

God Bless you,

Isabel

Good Morning!

I was originally diagnosed in 2003 and had been doing fine.  Now I have been diagnosed again 2008 with mets to my liver and bone.   I just finished Taxol which successfully shrunk my liver mets in half and lowered the intensity level quite well.  My bone cancer is no longer showing active!!!  The only downside is that the Taxol has just stopped working for me.  I almost had the intensity number down to where I could stop chemo and switch to a pill but it didn't quite make it.  So, Friday I start a new chemo Ixempra which we are hoping will take off where the Taxol left off.  The Taxol is a very good chemo!!  Good results!!   Please let me know how it works for you....

Debbie
