I have NSCLC (non small cell lung cancer)diagnosed in 2/03 and was treated with surgery and radiation. June this year I had nodes (supraclavicular lymphnodes) "pop up" and were seen on a follow up P.E.T. scan. Before undergoing chemo my Dr. offered me Tarceva in July.My Dr. put me on Tarceva (150mg daily) to see if I would respond and so far I have and latest P.E.T. demonstrates it. I have the rash too and treat it with Clindamycin Phosphate Lotion. Fatigue has been the biggest issue for me. But since I am responding I haven't had to do conventional Chemotherapy. Thank goodness I have good insurance, as it is very expensive, a little less than $3,000 month.
