Hi Ann-

Nancy here just checking in on how your second treatment of Doxil went? How are you feeling?

Hope you are feeling good and side affects are not bothering you too much.

Thinking of you Nancy

Hello Nancy-

I have not had any particular side effects from the Doxil. My hands feel dry but we are having very low moisture levels in our air here in So. Cal. and I think that is why. I am using lots of lotion when I remember to. I am having a little break from chemo as I was given a referral to a head and neck oncologist and will be having blood work and my first PET scan as ordered by him. Pending those results my doctors will confer and decide the next step/s to take. I am still going to 2 support groups in Long Beach and find them very helpful and we are able to comfort new members newly diagnosed.

Thanks for remembering to ask.

How are you doing?

Ann

Hi Ann

Good to hear from you, I am glad youre doing Ok. I had my second treatment of doxil and so far so good. I am having muscle and joint pains in my body and just tried. Numbness in fingers and feet but I think its the neuropathy from taxal back on last rounds of treatments that ended Jan. 08.

We have snow here and its freezing out. We just drop our puppy off at Vet to be fixed, so I am dog free today and Saturday, morning until we pick him up. Hopefully he calms down. Cats are happy they have house back today.

I miss him but I can get things done around here without his HELP, if you can call it that. Hes a joy though spirit wise.

I hope things work out with both your doctors and they give you a good treatment plan, and HOPE for a good recovery.

I need to get busy here, I am here when your able to talk. Nancy

Hello Nancy-

I am having more joint and muscle pain but it's hard to tell if it due to the Doxil or the fact that my 65th birthday is coming up next month =). Keep taking good care of yourself. I'll let you know when I get the results of my PET scan next week.

Ann
