RE: Recurrent Endometrial Cancer

Hi, Sorry you are also battling recurrent endo cancer. I was happy with Dr. John Soper formerly at Duke and now at Carolina in Chapel Hill. Because of relocation, I changed doctors to Dr. David Mutch at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis. Dr. Soper has excellent bedside manners as well as experience. I wish you the very best in continuing to fight.

Recurrent Endometrial Cancer

I am looking for more info on recurrent endometrial cancer. I was dx with Stage 1C Grade 2 endometrial cancer in Feb. 2007. I had surgery and internal radiation. In Feb. of 2008 I was dx with RECURRENT endometrial cancer. I never heard of this. With surgery I was assurred I was totally fine - go home enjoy life. The cancer recurred in peritoneum and liver. Two treatments of chemo carboplatin and taxol and the tumors were resolved. I completed 7 total treatments of chemo. Now, no cancer but watchful waiting. I hate it. Can anyone refer me to a MD for second opinion. A million thanks. Connie
