hello everyone. my 16 y/o daughter had appendicitis last week..when they took out her appendix, they found a carcinoid tumor.
She had the first part of her octreoscan today and I was watching the monitor while the machine was scanning, I saw several glowing spots. Is this normal to see during the san, or does any glow mean a tumor?
I know I should wait for the dr, but its Christmas and I'm a wreck.
