surgery and recovery

 Sorry I have not posted in a little while have been recovering and fighting. I had the tumor "invader" resection 2 inch by 1 1/2 inch giloma left pritial lobe on Nov 26th surgery went well, I woke up the next day in ICU. Ready to eat and sat straight up freaked the nurse out. THREE DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL DR SAYS THE SHOREST STAY EVER. To me the longest, recovery is slow and steady, good days and bad. The keppera is the devil and I hate it but I missed a dose one day and had a minor tremmor. Had 41 staples removed from my head that felt alot better. Some of the issues will improve while by brain continues to heal and swelling decreases. Still can't drive and light really bothers my eyes direct on but dim is great. Vocab is returning and sentence structure is slowly returning so I m sorry for miss spells or bad grammer.  Best news of all pathology report low grade stage one NO CANCER. I will have to have a repeat MRI in March to see exactly how much is left and then watch if it grows, if it does radiation. Please tumor do not grow. Please. Hope things continue to be good. I woke up in ICU surrounded by family and the Dr. wanted to test me so he said to me "whats your wifes Birth date" OMG my sister in law normally reminds me but I got it and she had the best smile on her face, I felt like a million dollars. Operated Wednesday out on Saturday. How good are these Drs now. I was a little bit unlucky in that my tumour was malignant. But thats the hand I am dealt and I gotta live with it.

I am so happy that you where able to pull off the questions that meant the world to your wife, sorry about the cancer that just plain sucks keep fighting, stay positive and never give up. I have earned an new view on life and whats important and have been able to see the people who really care for me.
