Information or feedback on the "Banerji Protocol" PRASANTA BANERJI HOMEOPATHIC RESEARCH FOUNDATION (

I have been researching and recovering loads of information on preventative and alternative treatments and came across this one.

Can anyone tell me what they know about the PBHRF Foundation located in Kolkata, India and the Ruta 6 and Calcarea Phos for Brain Cancer.

Dr. Prasanta Banerji was invited by the University of Texas (MD Anderson) to give a Lecture on the "Banerji Protocol".

This Homeopathic approach seems very promising and I would like for anyone with information to respond.

Hi Brenda, yes I have personal experience with Dr. Banerji's brain tumor protocol.  I posted last week regarding and have been inundated with e-mails requesting information.  I am going to tell my husband's story again and also post the information I have regarding.  My husband was dx in January 2005 with GBM IV and given six months to live.  He had surgery, radiation, and 15 months of temodar.  At the end of 15 months my husband opted to discontinue temodar because the side effects were becoming unbearable for him plus his MRI's were clean.  He did great for 16 months and then the tumor came back.  His doctors at UCLA put him back on  temodar.  Once again he was very sick and the tumor continued to grow but had slowed somewhat.  At this time, through research, I found Dr. Banerji's protocol and contacted him regarding my husband.  He e-mailed me his recommendations.  I ordered the meds and began giving to my husband in conjunction with the temodar.  Lo and behold, the next month's mri showed that the tumor was shrinking.  We were too scared to discontinue the temodar and try the homeopathic meds alone.  As a blessing in disguise, my husband developed double pneumonia and was forced off the temodar because of low platelets.  We continued on the Ruta and Cal Phos.  The following month's MRI revealed that the tumor was gone.  His doctors recommended that he once again go back on the temodar but he refused, opting to continue on the homeopathic regimen alone.  Well, that was a year ago and the tumor remains gone.  I of course want to shout from the rooftops about this, but realize that many people have reservations about people posting these sorts of things here.  I only know what has worked for us and feel that it has truly saved my husband's life.  I will paste the information below for anyone interested.

Here is all the info regarding Dr. Banerji's protocol for brain  tumor treatment.  Russ and I feel very strongly that this regimen has saved his life.    This medication is very inexpensive, roughly $50.00 for a six month supply and there are absolutely no side effects.  Because it is herbal you could use in conjuction with Avastin or your current treatment if you don't feel comfortable using alone.     The tumor has disappeared with this homeopathic regimen. The beauty of these meds is that there is absolutely no side effects whatsoever, which is great! I am going to  give you Dr. Banerji's website so you can take a look at it, you can see alot of his research there.  It is www.pbhrfindia.org  I will paste his recommendations here and also give you  the phone number of the homeopathic pharmacy I use.  The info is below.  I have found that to be the easiest way to order.  You can just ask for Dr. Banerji's brain tumor protocol, they will know what you are talking about.  But I will give you the dosaging so you have. Ruta Gr.6c & Calcarea Phos 3X treatment we do here alone in Brain tumor/cancer cases, no Chemo Therapy( CT ) and Radio Therapy( RT ) is used & we get excellent result of course. Now this Ruta treatment is being used in many cases in all over the Globe and with & after CT, RT relapse, with great success.
 
You can give him the following medicines:-
1) Ruta Gr.6c, in No.40 pill sizes or pill size 5mm diameter, 2 pills a
dose, two doses daily, morning and evening.
2) Calcarea Phos 3X, in tablets, 2 tables a dose, two doses daily, noon and

Can I ask did your husband have surgery for the GBM tumor?  That is amazing and so hopeful he is a 5 year survivor.  My boyfriend was diagnosed in March with an inoperable anaplastic astrocytoma tumor.  Recently they have found 4 more.  He has started the Banerji Protocol today.

I just discovered Banerji's protocol.  Received it from my husband's nutritionist, though it varies from yours.  The one we got says take three of each pill three times a day.  How did you contact Dr. Banerji?  I've sought an email address, but find none.  Did you write him?  My husband's nutritionist sent a protocol that calls for ruta at 7 am, 1 pm, 7 pm, and calc-phos at 10 am, 4 pm, and 10 pm.  I trust her, but you mentioned you heard from Banerji himself, so I'm curious about the difference.  I was told that he sometimes recommends additional remedies in addition to this treatment.  Did you receive any such information?  Your story about your husband's recovery is amazing.  My husband is a three and a half year gbm survivior, but the tumor recently returned and he's in trouble.  I'm hoping ruta and calc, with Novocure machine, a trial he's in, will aid him.  He's going downhill fast.  Any further info will help.  Thanks.

Thank you for your info on the ruta protocol. I have a problem here that I hope you can help. My husband had a recurrent GBM and had surgery on 16th feb, 2009.He had 5 pieces of glaidel wafer inserted into his brain. He is now on CAAT diet and need to avoid anything with phosphate. Can he take the graviola alone without the calcarea? Is it just as effective. I am eager to give the ruta as we have refuse any chemo. The brain scan report shows massive edema in his left brain.Please help.

I came across your post while searching for patients of Dr P Banerji's. My mother is a metastatic breast cancer patient and has just started Dr Banerji's medicines for brain metastases.

I was very encouraged by your personal story and wanted to ask you to clarify, did your husband see the good effects of the medicines within a month or longer?

My mother is on the same meds (Ruta & Calc Phos) and it has been 2 weeks since she has started the meds. We are currently struggling with the decision of whether to start radiation in conjunction with Dr Banerji's meds or rely on the meds solely.

Gbm Wife, since your husband is now a 7 year survivor, and I know that you are still contributing to this board, and your husband is still in the battle, would you mind very much giving us all a quick personal opinion of the Banerji Protocol?  Do you think, 4 years later, it made a momentus difference in your husband's success?  Any regrets or hindsight that you can share with us?  Maybe you would do the protocol again?  Do you think you can contribute his long term success to the fact that he had this treatment in the early years?  I often wonder about things that are not updated for so long, and wonder if the patients did get any benefit.  I would love to know how you feel about it now.
