I'm sorry your doctor has presented those choices to you. I will give you a link to another alternative, but first, did you look at the lab report? Something I'm not clear on is if the margins were clear or if there was CIS in the margins. That could help you with your choices, right there. But please insist on seeing the lab report and getting a full explanation.
In the meantime, the other alternative between cone biopsy and hysterectomy is the trachelectomy. The entire cervix is removed and the uterus is left for fertility. I'll give you a couple of links.
