why is it important to take these two drugs together and why must the dose be so precise? my mom doesnt know why. after the fist doses how often does a person have to take them every other week or what?

Jerry, the two drugs work better than one. I'm pretty sure the dosage depends on the weight of the person. Usually, the chemo is given every 3 weeks if the person can tolerate it--blood work needs to be OK.
