Ive been reading some of the messages and came accros a couple of nutrition recipes.... I'm really sorry to tell you this but.... Tumors live on sugar, dairy and red meet....Dairy has lots of hormones that they induce in the cows and chickens....Tumors live on that also.... Especially if you have liver cancer. My opion stay away from artificial sugars, dairy, chicken and red meet..  you can find cheese made from raw organic milk and soya beans... You can drink Almond milk ( Unsweetened) and Butter made with Flaxseed oils, you can find Stevia for sugar sub and of course Fruits are really good for you.. Eat lots of Vegetables... Garlic, Onions, Gabage, brocoli... very good for cancer. You can eat Veal, fish ect... I know its not easy... trust me, I'm a cheese, steak all you can eat lover and I had to change my way and my dad's way... Its very hard but when you know its for the best.... It gets easier.... If you need help, please feel free to write back... I will be glad to help.

Hi, I am responding to your message.  I have tried my mother on all organic stuff.  She was using organic heavy cream in her oatmeat.  Then I make a chicken soup with the cream and she was sick for three days after that.  She won' t touch it.  I have a mother that is used to ruling the roost and my father feels like I get on her too much about her eating.  Meat doesn't taste good to her, so that is good, but most other things don't either.  She eats waffles, cereral, muffins, junk.  She is very weak, because if she does too much, she loses more weight.  She has a feeding tube in now and still only weights 88-90 pounds.  She has done with chemo and radition for a year and a half.  I don't know what else to do.  My name is Chris and if you have any ideas?  thanks.

Hi,

I have stage IV RCC (None Clear Cell). Single nefrectomy about 5.5 years ago and a year ago it reared its ugly head again in three lympnode. I am under a clynical trial of Sutent and RD001 that at least for now, seems to be working quite well.  I was a pysically solid guy a year ago, and as a result of the Meds I have lost about 40 lbs of muscle and belly fat. One major concern of my oncologist was not to loose anymore weight or he would have to take me off the meds. However, he said eat what ever I want.  No nutritial diet at all.  When I bring it up, he dosent say no, but doesn't direct me either.  What (or to whom) foods would you suggest I eat for my cancer and to keep my weight up.  Certain times during my Med Cycle the dieria and gas is brutal.

Your posting leads me to believe that the Alkaline Diet is the way to go.  If anyone is going through Chemo,  we have found that Jason Winters has a wonderful tea that boosts your immune system.  (it comes in flavors too)  We were told by my daughter's oncologist that her white blood cell count was higher than most people and we believe it was due to the jason winters tea.   www.sirjasonwinters.com.  we highly recommend it
