Stage 3C but now am to meet with liver specialist does that bump it to Stage 4?

My understanding is that mets to the liver is stage4-but do not panic, I do not know your medical stats etc. but I do know that there are many long term survivors with stage 4. There is a wonderful web-site called Team Inspire. Please go check it out. It has a wealth of info from all of us who have cancer.

Hi, Once you are staged like me a 3c you will always be considered a stage 3c. Even if it travels some where else you are considered to still have OVCA.Hope this helps you.

My understanding is the same as Terry's - the 'stage' and 'type' of cancer you start with is the same as you go along, i.e. Stage 3 Ovarian remains as such even if it shows up somewhere else.
