Thank you so much for the info. We also live in Toronto and he is treated at PMH. All the side affects sound scary but at least it stablized the monster. How many "rounds" did you go for this chemo? We are still thinking if he should go on it or not, He might start in a very low dose and see how it works, otherwise there is no other treatment other then "quality of life" and lots of alternatives. I am really curious about the treatment in the USA what could it be? Let me know when You find out. Good luck and thanx.

Hi Hanna I was on my eighth treatment and had a reaction 20 minutes into the chemo.... I go to Sunnybrook cancer clinic for treatment,but right now I'm not on anything.... Your dad should go for treatment,it helped me ,and it can help your dad. When I find out what treatment(chemo)I will recieve I will let you know on this site. Have faith and you and your father will be in my prayers. JOHN A

Hello this is John's wife & I just wanted to update the info on John. John had a CT done March 31 & got the results in April 2006.. The tumor near the pancreas has shrunk a bit. The other two in his liver haven't growin. John hasn't been on chemo or any other meds since Oct 4 2005. All the Best to Everyone Fighting This Disease Karen & John

michelle, is Dr. Geller a colon cancer expert? His bio said liver - i just wanted to be sure. one of my dearest friends has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. it moved into her liver and vagina. I want to hook her up with the #1 expert. Any help you could provide is greatly appreciated! erica
