Out of curiosity, did you have a three-month follow-up PAP smear, after the LEEP? Sometimes the specimen can give a false negative because the hot wire leaves burn marks around the margins. So, it may be the LEEP didn't get everything. If your doctor did not see you for the follow-up PAP smear until now, please get a different doctor, immediately. With your health history, he should have.
If this is the second follow-up appointment after the LEEP, and the dysplasia returned, please insist on getting HPV DNA tested. That way, you will know which strain you are addressing. Roche has one called AMPLICOR, and I swear by it. Since insurance companies don't like to pay for anything new, your doctor may not have it, or you may have to ask about it before he can offer it to you, or you may have to go to a teaching hospital. You can also contact one of the nationally known labs and find out which tests they offer. But finding out will help you set up a strategy for protecting your health.
A compromised immune system does make you more vulnerable in that it's difficult to throw off infections. So, let me give you some links that will help you boost your immune system to keep your body healthy. Since you have had a kidney transplant, are you working with a professional who could tailor diet and supplments that would keep you healthy?

It disturbs me the doctor is talking about a hysterectomy, at this stage. If you do require and choose additional surgery, the doctor needs to discuss all of your options, as well as their risks and benefits, with you.
