My mother has just been diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer. Does anyone have any information about p53 gene therapy for ovarian cancer? We are in the southeast and would be willing to travel to receive this, if it helps.

This is a vaccine offered at several study sites. Not sure of all
the locations, I believe one is at Sloan kettering in NYC and
another at NIH in Maryland. Suggest you do a google search on
"P53 Vaccine" and that should turn up some locations. Also try
the ACOR discussion board - www.acor.org and go to the
ovarian cancer discussion list. Very good info there.

We too are trying to find out and considering going to China for the gene therapy.  my mom has stage 4 lung cancer with metestatic tumors on many of her bones.  we are in the 5th generation of treatment.... small steps but none that have been amazing.  she has been fighting for 1yr and we are open to anything.... please if you know anything.. might have a lead on talking with 2 people who have gone to china for the treatment.  thanks!
