A Klatskin tumor is a cancer that develops in cells that line the bile ducts in the liver, where the right and left ducts meet.   It usually presents late making surgery impossible.  If surgery is not possible, then radiation and chemo are used.  Their outlook is somewhat better than most bile duct cancers.

O,Thank you very much for your hopeful information, specially when you are a doctor\nurse it makes me feel better.

the doctors said that my mom couldn't have a surgury but they didn't start a chemo or radioteraohy too! so now my mother is not under a curing plan and she is at home, her doctors said that she can go home!! i don't know why? and why they didn't and don't do any thing.this is about 3.5 months from my mom diagnosing.they just inserted an stent in her  bile.

do you know any thing about the reason and that in which situation there is no need to chemo or radio teraphy?

i'm still waiting for your reply.thank you again.
