Get a third opinion or a new doctor. There are a number of scenarios that could be taking place. In addition, was an ECC done? Was there any mention of dysplasia in the endocervical glands? But the situations I am posing below are why I am concerned.
1. Your body's immune system is strong and you cleared it up, naturally. If he does a LEEP and it doesn't prove to have just cause, you'll be furious, and the only outcome is he'll have made money.
2. The lab report was mixed up with somebody else, in which case it was good you had it done, again, by the second doctor.
3. There is something further up being missed, in which case, you should be further examined, and a LEEP, or even cold knife cone biopsy, would be a good idea to further diagnose and, hopefully, treat you successfully.
LEEP can be used when the colposcopy is unsatisfactory, and I can definitely see the doctor's concern, due to the enormous difference in your lab results. But the second doctor did not find anything. That your primary OB/GYN has decided to do a LEEP is a little alarming. LEEP concerns me because of its overuse. I'm not saying don't do it because if you are in situation number 3, not being proactive could endanger your life. What I am saying is go over all of this very carefully and check all avenues, first, and do it as soon as possible. A third opinion could help you. See if your primary care physician has a good referral for you.
