My mom has a carcinoid tumor with mets to her liver, diagnosed in August 2007. She never had chemo or radiation treatments but has been on the alternative treatments. She is experiencing an agressive hair loss all over her scalp with the progress of the disease. She has started Budwig Protocol (alternative) only recently. Has anyone with cancer experienced a hair loss non related to chemo and radiation? Do you have any suggestions/advise how to stop it and save the little hair that she has left? She's using only organic shampoos.
