Hi Sandra08,
Unfortunately drs often aren't a lot of help with this type pain, despite the fact that it happens to a LOT of women who've had breast cancer. There actually have been quite a few similar messages about post-surgery/treatment breast pain in the past month or so. If you will go to the breast cancer topics message board: http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/cancers/breast-ca and search down through the message threads, you can find a lot of information about the causes and treatment for this pain. ( I've posted a couple of those message responses myself, but I don't remember in which particular threads, and I haven't been able to access my message center to get the links for you.)
If you haven't already, check with your drs about this pain to make sure it isn't recurrence - a PET scan should be sufficient, even if there is a lot of scarring from the radiation. Talk to them about getting on some pain meds, to help you with activities of daily living, and to get you through rehabilitative therapy.
In terms of therapy, two things you might investigate: a form of massage/physical therapy called myofascial release, and rebounding - exercising with a 36" mini-trampoline. Here is the link that explains how this will help:
