Hi. you shouldn't have a problem with having kids in the future. just get treated and we all hope to be better.

Mild dysplasia clears itself up, most of the time. So, you have a very strong chance you won't develop anything worse. Unless you have dysplasia in the endocervical canal or the endocervical glands, your doctor made the right decision to wait. Please get copies of all your lab reports, though. Knowledge is power, and the more you are aware about your condition, the more you can make informed decisions. Right now, there is a lot you can do to boost your immune system to make your chances even better.

Trehouse has a wonderful website. She gives great information. I hae a lot of respect for what she has done, especially since she is a cancer Survivor.

Tany01 and Chemiszt24 cleared up cervical dysplasia through natural means.

This is the homeopathy thread. It also has good information. Tumor posted the Green Drink, which I am still enjoying.

As herenow said, mild dysplasia can often clear up on its own, and the chances of that happening are much higher in teenagers.  Any kind of treatment probably poses more risk to you, than the mild dysplasia does at this point.  Be sure to have your pap smears on teh schedule your doctor recommends, so that they can monitor you for additional changes.  Mild dysplasia does not pose any risk to your fertility, however, it's important that you take care of yoruself.  A good diet and nurtition is important to keep your immune system strong.  There are lots of supplements you can take to keep your immune system healthy, and this will help your body correct the mild dysplasia.

Aside from the good nutrition, make sure you get the sleep you need and be careful about engaging in risky behaviors.  You should also try to steer clear of too much stress, as it can affect your immune system.  Good luck.
