I was dx with angio in 12/07 and had a mastectomy with no after treatment. Then again in June I notice a small brusie on my scar which turned out to a recurrence. I had 2 surgeries to get clean margins. I went to /Sloan and Washington Hosp Center and they both suggested radiation therapy which has bet 5-10% effective rate.  /this is a hard decision. Radiation could create problems in the even I have another recurrence in the same spot.  Has any had to face this question?

I just went through angiosarcoma...had 5 surgeries and two trips for a total of 14 punch bio's.  I had radiation 15 years ago and that is what caused this cancer.  I have had one doctor recomend radiation and two that are against it.  I have decided not to do it.  Since you did not have radiation the first time around, your angiosarcoma is a primary one and not a secondary one.  I have struggled with this for days and finaly feel at peace about my decision.  Please see a Sarcoma specialist, and don't let a general doctor take care of this if you want a better chance of survival.  What grade was your sarcoma?

Thank you so much for your response to my question. The angiosarcoma I have is low grade and I am still considering all my options. This is not easy. Thank you again

I agree with the comment prior. Seek help from a Sarcoma Specialist.
