Has anyone been able to succesfully treat unresectable heart angiosarcoma with alternative treatments? This is for someone recently diagnosed undergoing 2nd chemo treatment.

Hi Grace01 sorry about your friend The only conventional treatments I know of is Despite the short-term risk involved in surgery, if palliative resection is possible, a multidisciplinary approach with adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation can result in mid-term survival. The other is a heart transplant The only other way is to boosts the immune system. Deferent type of cancer have to be treated  in deferent ways. Mine is prostrate cancer. It sex hormone dependent. No one knows for sure but the theory is  Sarcoma is cause by a weaken immune system and being exposed  to pollutants. With any type of sarcoma In this case unrespectable heart Angiosarcoma  it still sarcoma to treat sarcoma. The research says Stimulate the body's own regulatory, repair and immune mechanisms, to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. There is an alternative treatment called "dendritic vaccine" it has none or at lease very little side effects. Their site is at http://www.issels.com This comprehensive treatment boosts the immune system so it can fight the cancer it can also prevent a reoccurrence.

All the best Ray
