treating teh elderly with Nexavar

My mother was recently diagnosed with libver cancer and the Oncologist suggested she look into taking Nexavar. She is 92 years old. I am concerned that the side effects would be too much for someone her age.

Has anyone on the board had experience with Nexavar and an over 80 patient?

At 58, I've been able to manage the side effects fairly well.  But I can see where it would be very difficult at 90+.

Had started in mid feb ,took for 8 days had severe rash and nausea and the doc advised him to discontinue for a few days, after staring again now for ten days he still has reactions but not as strong as earlier.

I would like to know more about you. Please respond.
