LEEP - Continual Post procedure issues

ALL,

Since my LEEP in July 2007, I have begun to have what I call a pre-period.  About 7-10 days before my actual period starts, a discharge (for lack of a better word) starts up that is somewhat brownish and might be accompanied by some blood.  The blood is very pinkish, not like the normal monthly.  It isn't a large amount, just enough to make sure you are prepared for it!

When this first started about 6 weeks after the LEEP, my GYN performed a cervical test to see if the cervix was bleeding.  Negative - or nothing conclusive and was written off as "pre-pre-menapause.  I'm 45. Since then all PAPS have been normal.  Last one July '08.

Is there really a Pre- Pre-Menapause?  If anyone has anything similar, please let me know.  It is very minor, but extremely aggrivating - at best!  Seems like my period ends, only for it to start up, sort of, again in two weeks.

Any inforfmation would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Andrea
