Does anyone know if using emu oil to help with the scabbing and ITCHING, is ok to use during treatment? I am on day 18 of a 28, and for the past two days, the itching has become unbearable. I use emu oil for burns, cuts, etc., and love the way it works. So, I've applied it after the fluorouracil. It does give some relief, but I'm afraid, it may be counter-productive to the treatment, as emu oil has healing effects. I'm wondering if the emu oil may heal the areas before the bad cells have been destroyed. Anyone know anything about this? I'd appreciate any advice. I've come too far to do anything that will interfere with the process.
