Result of Ct Scan

Hi Everyone, I just got the result of my Ct-Scan. I have a tumor on the top of my vagina. My CA-125 went from 34 to 50.6 in a few weeks. I guess my CA 125 is a good indicator something is wrong. The Onc where I get my chemo made a appointment immediately to see my GYN/ONC in Lehigh Valley for Tuesday. My Onc up where I live said he thinks that surgery or radiation should be considered but it up to my GYN/ONC. He did my surgery for me. I'm so upset I don't know what to do. If you haven't met me  I'm a stage 3C and I've had 8 treatments of carbo/taxol and 5 treatments of Doxil. I guess I will never see remission, I don't think it's in my cards. I thank God everyday that I'm alive. There are days I have conversations with him to please heal me so I can see my grandchildren grow up.

Hugs and Prayers, Terry

Hey Terry So sorry about your Ct scan, results. How large is growth? Do you know?  My Ca jumped much higher, fast too, I had a 25 to 50 point jump back after/ during my remission, which only lasted a month or two.

Don't freak, I know its easier to say than do here but you will get through this we all will together and HOLDING HANDS! We won't let go there, so don't you!!!!

Hang On there we are here! Blessings and prays to you there! Nancy

Hang in there, Terry.  I have conversations with God, too.  He can't let us down!

Get the tumor out and beat this thing!  What next after tumor removal?  More chemo?

My heart breaks for you and for everyone going through this.  Myself included.

Do you ever feel like you cannot bear the weight of it sometimes?  I do.

Hi Terry,

I am so sorry your CT results were not what you had hoped and prayed they would be.  It is Frightening and Frustrating.  And this is a problem you must depend on someone else to solve and we're not used to that.  It sounds like they can remove this tumor which is a positive.  Tuesday you'll know more what is going to happen.

With all of us with you hoping and praying with you, you can do this.

MerryK

Thanks n

Nancy, MaryAnn and MerryK. I just can't seem to focus to much now. I know what's ever in store for me that I'm ready for it. I have much faith in God that he will see me through this.

Hugs and Prayers, Terry

I don't know your geographical location or exact nature of the tumor placement but possibly radio frequency ablation or the LINAC focused radiation therapy. Link below is at U of Michigan. University of Boston has something similar also. So does Dana Farber in NY I think. These are non-invasive techniques that have good success with solid tumors.

Prayer for you, and may the Lord bring comfort to you.  Not so easy to keep steady, I understand, my wife was 3C maybe 4 at diagnosis and we walk the same line of nervousness all the time.

We are also trying 8 grams curcumin per day on the hope that it will help my wife. we get ours at http://www.agelesscures.com/

Alan, thanks so much for the links. I will never give in to this disease, I just get so depressed at times. It's a never ending battle. I would like to see remission but was told it's not on the table for me.

Hugs and Prayers and Love, Terry

First of all, don't panic....your tumor can be treated successfully in different ways, and I know the doctors in the Lehigh Valley are good ones. I come from Bethlehem, now live in South Florida. You have fine hospitals there. Remember, don't panic, you'll be fine.
