Alternative Medicine for terminal patient

My cousin was diagnosed with mouth cancer (due to tobacco use) about a year ago. Since then, he has been through a lot. It first started as a very small sore in the mouth that was treated with radiation therapy (and then had plastic surgery> once his oncologist confirmed it was cancer. Then within a few weeks, his lymph nodes were swollen and he had radiation therapy (or possibly removal of lymph nodes) for the cancer cells that had spread there. The doctors started chemotherapy on him but unfortunately, our worst fear came true. The cancer cells came back again in his mouth but since he had plastic surgery there, his oncologist said there is nothing more he can do. He cannot go back into his mouth because he cannot open it back up. So the doctor said that he can continue to give chemotherapy even though it is doing nothing for him. His oncologist has given him less than 3 months to live or maybe even six months max. This is very heartbreaking for my family and we do not know how to cope.

Since nothing is working, we have switched over to alternative treatments. We have put him on cottage cheese and flax seed oil (16 tbs of the cheese and 8 tbs of the flax oil), Essiac tea, Jason's Winter Tea, and Poly-mva. I will soon give him COQ10 and Ester C. Because he has mouth cancer, his teeth were removed and it is very difficult for him to eat. And the mouth sores makes it 10 times worse. Does anyone out there know of anything else that we can do to help my cousin? Any other natural treatments we can put him on or things that he can drink (since he can eat) to combat his cancer?

He had his scans today and his oncologist said that his cancer has not spread further since he last saw him. So maybe these natural treatments are working for him (fingers crossed and praying to God). If anyone knows of anything more we can do to help, please let me know. Any kind of advice can make a huge difference. God bless you all and please keep my cousin in your prayers.

Wow good post hes  on the right track,  I have advance prostrate cancer. I went to a naturopath Debby she put me on to an alterative treatment for prostrate cancer I’m having two-table spoon of ground up flack seeds. and two table spoons of cottage cheese. Twice a day (I grind the flack seeds up my self using a coffee grinder, as she told me flack seed oil not good for prostrate cancer ) I have this, for breakfast and lunch, I was advised not  to  have any sugary foods. Fruit or fruit juice. I’m also staying off milk and red meat  she said I should also have on  2 x 40mg of red clover of a morning and 2 x 40mg of at night. I’ve been on this a month now. I had my PSA last week and only after three weeks I found my PSA  gone down 3 points. So it looks like I’m on the right track to.  There is only one other thing I could suggest that is cellular Zeolite the only thing is you cant have it if he’s on  chemo as chemo a heavy metal and zeolite removes heavy metals. Well take care and God bless you both Ray

doubleA,

Glad to hear that your alternative approach appears to be at least holding the cancer in check. There is so much information out there about alternative therapies it can be tough to weed your way through it.

I’m a big fan of the author Bill Henderson. (Just Google him) I recently downloaded his book and like what I see. I’ve only been researching alternative care for a few months, but there appear to be many effective approaches. I pray that your search leads you to a treatment that can reverse your cousin’s advanced cancer.

I also like the site www.cancertutor.com

For nutrition may I suggest blending organic vegetables such as kale, beets, spinach, cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli sprouts or broccoli, carrots, parsley, cucumbers, and so on. You can add pure water to thin the mixture and throw in a kiwi and even a little Stevia natural sweetener to make it more palatable.

I’ve heard an all organic plant based diet can be very effective. For protein add Whey powder to a banana and dark grapes in a blender. Avoid large quantities of fruit sugar as well as processed pasteurized fruit juices.

I also like FO/CC or flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. I assume you are spreading the 8 Tbls through out the day. I buy the regular flaxoil  and grind additional flax seeds with a coffee grinder to add to the mixture.

Please keep us posted. We are all looking for what’s best out there. Fred Eichorn also comes highly recommended.

My daughter was diagnosed with GBM (brain cancer 2006)  I'm currently looking into MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement)  & MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) an organic sulfur to rid her body of the cancer.

With all I've read both MMS & MSM are very alkaline and good to help your body heal itself.

She has been on an Alkaline diet,  Taking Dr Rath's Epican Forte, Drinking lots of Jason Winter's tea.

God Bless you and your cousin, I will pray for your family.

Stay Positive a good attitude is also a benefit

Thank you all for contributing your experiences.

Unfortunately, my cousin's cancer has spread throughout the body. He was hospitalized earlier this week and his oncologist asked whether he'd rather die in the hospital or at home. I am still in shock and I feel so hopeless.  His wife still has hope and she is continuing to give him Poly-mva and Jason's Winter Tea.

At this point, our only hope is a miracle from God. I hope God will have some mercy on his 5 year old son and 9 month old daughter. Please keep my cousin in your prayers. At the end of the day, it is only God who decides whether a certain medication or treatment will work. And only he can do miracles.

I will continue praying for all those people who are suffering from or have a family member suffering because of this monster called cancer.

God Bless you all.

You’re on the right track there one other thing I mix the flack seeds and cottage cheese with  soy milk and add an artificial sweetener it makes it drinkable.  I’ve read a lot about  Zeolitte it works well with cancer cause by pollution like smoking take care Ray

Hi all,

I like to share my experience here and hopefully this will help some of you and your love ones.  My dad was diagnosis with stage 4 stomach cancer on Nov. 2007. The cancer was found in his stomach, lymh nodes and spread to his pancreas.  Since then he had surgery to removed his stomach and went on 5 months of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy initially helps him shrank the cancer on lymh nodes and pancreas but he became too weak and the chemo didn't help eventually, the cancer continues to grow while he's on chemo.  He lost 50lbs since he was disagnosed.

Eventually, we brought him in for alternative treatment. We went to ATL in bahamas for immunotherapy in July, the result was not good. In August of 2008, he wasn't able to hold down any food, he was vomitting everyday, also in lots back pain due to cancer in his pancreas. Our doctor said he's going to die very soon. We then took him to a Clinic in NY Long Island for IPT treatment. We didn't stop doing treatment from Bahamas. So we combine IPT treatment w/ the immunotherapy shots. In about a month, my dad started eating again and no more pain after 2 months. He had the PET/CT scan 3 months after the treatment, cancer shrank in half and the activity of cancer are also very slow. He's even able to drive 3hrs on our ride to NYC. Please look in to IPT and Immunotherapy if you are terminal patients.  I recommend IPT and Immune shot together for faster and better result. Good luck!!

Thank you very much for sharing your father's experience. I hope his health continues to improve and he soon becomes cancer free.

My cousin is terminal at this point. He was having trouble breathing a few days ago and was hospitalized. We were informed by a doctor that the cancer is now blocking his airways and he has about a week to live. He is not able to get out of his bed as his body is extremely week.

We have no hope for his recovery and are now praying to God that he experiences no pain during his last few days with us. This is very bad news for my family and I cannot even imagine what his wife is going through at this moment. For those who are wondering his experience with all the alternative medications, I am especially upset to say that none of the alternative medications we gave him worked. We gave him Essaic Tea, Jason's Winter Tea, Poly-MVA, cottage cheese and flax oil, Noni Juice, Mangosteen Juice, put him on alkaline water, put him on a strict vegetable and fruit diet. Nothing worked. They did not even help slowing down tumor growth. I do not want to say that anyone with cancer should refrain from trying any of these medications as every cancer and every body is different. But nothing worked for my cousin.

I hope and pray to God that no one ever has to experience what my cousin and his wife have experienced this past year. Please have him and his family in your prayers.
