on october 3, mom was daignosed with a brain tumor in the CORPUS CALLOSUM area. her biopsy was on the 11th, finding out on the 19th that it was a GLIOMA. further tests showed that it was an OLIGOASTROCYTOMA, stage II. her doctor will be doing FOCUSED RADIATION along with doses of TEMODAR. she's having little studs embedded into her skull to ensure accuracy during the radiation treatment on monday, nov 7. treatment will hopefully follow soon after this. is anyone familiar with the whole focused radiation thing? she was doing fine until she found out she'd have to do chemo as well. any thoughts or suggestions for her/us? thanks!
