I have had several moles removed all labeled displastic with mile atypia, I know these are not considered cancer only to have abnormal cells in them. I recently had 2 removed and the pathology report was referred to the May clinic for a 2nd evaluation. This has never been done before but my dr office staff states that this is precautionary and it is good to get a 2nd opinion. I am still waiting on the results but am a little worried that maybe there is a reason they sent it for a 2nd evaluation. Should I be overly worried?
Thanks
Melissa
