SUPPLEMENTS FOR CANCER PATIENTS

I know that I have read on here about a list of supplements that are excellent for cancer patients.  Can anyone guide me?  My husband is 7weeks out of radiation and chemo for head and neck cancer - tonsil, tongue, voice box and lymph nodes.  He has very thick mucous, a PEG tube.  He has no energy - the Dr. says it will just take time.  I know that there must be supplements that will help with this process.  Any advice is appreciated.  God Bless!

Hi Cheryl My name is Tami. My husband was dxn with synovial sarcoma. Right now it is Stage 4. It is a very aggressive form, as his Dr. said two days ago -17 mons ago I saw you and did not expect to see you again. We have been very aggressive with vits, juicing, and diet. There is a book called Beating Cancer with Nutrition by Patrick Quillin. That has been helpful. The other thing we do use vits. The best ones we have found is by Eniva. We use their B-complex, Bio-chlor, Ca Mag, Multivit. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is a MLM company you can't order from the company without a reference person. But I  got over that b/c  their products are good. Another thing to help keep wt on is protein dirnks. We use Robb Jays b/c they are all natural you wnat whey isolate and no artifical sweeteners, color. We mix it with Almond Milk (organic Trader Joes), organic fruit (small amt), fresh ground flaxseed (1Tbsp), Coconut oil (1T) during chemo he took it 2 times a day. It helps keep weight on. You could also juice through the PEG 3- 4 times a day. We bought a Omega juicer on line we juice organic veggies, or use a Vix Mix. You also want to find a Nautural Path Dr in your area.  Last but the most important is a little book called Healing Scriptures by Charles Chaps. Greg confesses that 2-3 times a day. If you do juice and give your husband protein drinks via the PEG make sure you flush that thing really well. I do have more things we do if you need more help. Blessings Tami
