Thanks for your reply. :)
No, she didn't go over it with me in detail, it was probably on the consent form no doubt. I just didn't really "think" about what it would entail. Yeah, it's pretty awful. I had no idea, it really affects your quality of life.
The surgery went well, I think, my doctor didn't even talk to me or my husband afterwards. She told me prior to the surgery that there was a dimple there and either she was going to poke through it or leep out the tissue. So, who knows. I asked the ambulatory center what she did exactly, (if they had any surgical notes etc.) and they just said a dilation and ecc. Actually, they keep saying "dillitation", I swear, I can't believe I let these people near my vagina. :D
I'm still very tightly bloated and there is nothing significant coming out.
I called the doctor's office and talked to the nurse to find out- and she didn't have any surgical notes. I asked her if the trapped fluid will come out on it's own (like with my normal cycle) or would she have evacuated it, and she had no idea and told me she didn't understand the question. She said I was probably bloated from pain medication and call after the weekend.
From reading what I have on here, I think I should go to a gyno-oncolgist for the maintenance check ups. Don't you? Or at least switch doctors. she is leaving the practice in a few weeks anyway. (I don't know why, probably nothing crazy) I only kept going to her because she was the one who delivered my son (she was on call that day.) She is really nice and I am not a very forward person. I know I should be my own advocate, especially now, I am so uncomfortable.
I am guessing that the relief will come when my period is due. Hopefully, if not, I think I will request an ultrasound or something so they can see what is going on. And of course, I'm anxious about the lab results.
