I've read most of the messages on this site about so many people being diagnosed with dysplasia. Like many of you, I am also 19 years old and I received a letter from the OB/GYN office few days ago stating that they found mild dysplasia. I immediate began to cry because I was not quite sure where things were going to go how how they were to be handled. I was in the hospital the summer for about three months and I was also diagnosed with Rheumatoid Artheritis and had a five tumor removed from my right ovary and thankfully, it was benine. After all the hospitalization, tests, and going through the emotional roller coaster, I began to think how much more could I possibly take.
I'm in college now majoring in Psychology and I hope to become a Psychiatrist one day. To heal people mentally and physically is my dream. I want you to all know that everything is going to be okay. Do not be afraid to receive a second opinion if you have to. This whole process is trial and error. You fight through it, stay strong, and connect often with the people who love you. Everything will be okay. If you need to cry, cry all you want.
The lord is with you and I'll keep all of you in my prayers. We can do it, we are strong people. That's the reason why we are all in this situation together. We're strong enough to fight it.
