Hi thanks for your concern, just a little update on my husband, he had his first chemo of carbo, taxol, and avastin on Wed, long day!!, he did well, slept most of the time, also has felt fine since treatment. I know it is early, hopefully he will continue to feel well. The doctor did allow him to go back on small dose of decadron, he felt more tired without it. Today he went for an injection to help his white cell count. Next Wed back for more blood tests, then the next Wed Avastin. I will keep you all updated and appreciate this site and the people here. We are all here to help each other and I truly appreciate any help I can receive, You are in my prayers, take care all, Karen

I was on chemo for stage IV nsclc for 5 months and the tumor shrank considerably. I'm on Tarceva now and feeling well. Your husband's youth is on his side. I'm praying and pulling for you both.
