I am 25 and was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis at 24. I had surgery in August 2008 to remove a 10 lb spleen and am currently on Hydroxyurea. I am looking to talk to anyone under the age of 35 diagnosed similarly or treated. Apparently it is extremely uncommon to receive this diagnosis under the age of 50. I am also interested to talk to people who have had an unrelated stem cell or bone marrow transplant to find out how it has affected their lives As I am going to have to have one eventually.
Thanks,
Jenn
