Carboplatin without Taxol - ??

Question: Does anyone know the potential impact of dropping Taxol from a Carbo/Taxol treatment?  My mom has had such a bad reaction that they have pulled the Taxol from her treatment. 

Stage 1C Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer.  She had 2 treatments of Carbo/Taxol (doc was only going to send her for 4 rounds, so she was 50% of the way there).

There is no impact of droping Taxol if you had reaction.Staying on it would have negative impact on your body and bonemarrow.

I was on Carboplatin only for 6 rounds and after 3   did not do anything anymore that it supposed to do. My numbers went down and really I was not sick like with Taxol and Carboplatin together.
