      <description>Cyber Knife worked wonders for my girlfriends mother, She had brain cancer/tumor and the doctors said nothing else could be done and that she only had 6 months to live.she took 3 treatments in one week and it is totally gone.If you are a candidate, Your very lucky, I wanted my mom to have it but her tumors are to big in her lung,we have to get then shrunk before she can have it.God Bless</description>

      <description>&amp;nbsp;On 3/28/2009 Johan wrote:I am 67 with a stage 4 recurrance.&amp;nbsp; My original diagnonis was in 1989 for which I had a lung resection.&amp;nbsp; The cancer showed up again in the spring of 06.&amp;nbsp; I started on Tarceva in June of 06.&amp;nbsp; My doctor tells me it has controlled my tumors with little growth.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve had several scans that showed a small amount of growth.&amp;nbsp; The largest hospital in our area has gotten machinery for cyberknife radiation.&amp;nbsp; My doctor has suggested that I have the procedure.&amp;nbsp; Has anyone else had the cyberknife procedure?&amp;nbsp; I would like to hear results and experiences.&amp;nbsp; Also, when I read the boards people refer to their doctors perscribing meds for the tarceva rash and other side effects..Is it always the oncologist or does he send you to someone else.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I appreciate any feedbach you can give.Johan&amp;nbsp;Had cyberknife on cerebellum tumor in October, have adenocarcinoma of the lung with metastasis.&amp;nbsp; Cyberknife reduced that tumor from over 4cm to less than 1 cm. Worst part was having the &amp;quot;mask&amp;quot; over my face and being perfectly still for 20 minutes.&amp;nbsp; No aftermath problems.&amp;nbsp; Continuing to monitor tumor with MRI, Oncology-Radiology hot to do whole brain radiation and I am firmly opposed.&amp;nbsp; There are no other metastasis present yet on MRI and whole brain has ~48% possibility of decreased mental function.&amp;nbsp;</description>
