The End

Around 1pm today my mom lost her battle with Endimotrial cancer.  She was diagnosed Stage IV last August and we just can't believe how fast the cancer took her from us.  On Thursday the oncologist told us that she was looking at less then 6 months and I was looking at different types of treatments.  On Sunday they let us know that she was fading fast.  Now she's gone.  It's amazing that today is just like any other day but it'll be one of the most important in my life.

Rest in peace mom.

Oscar,

My heart and my prayers go out to you.My mom also died from that cancer...she was 51 when she died

Focus on all the good times your mom and you had and know that she is indeed in peace and pain free now.

You are in my prayers....

Oscar, I am very sorry for your loss. I can certainly understand how it was made even more difficult by having so little time to adjust to the possibility of losing her, as if there were ever enough time.

Be gentle with yourself over the next weeks and months and trust that the pain will at least become more tolerable if you allow yourself to remain open to the grieving process.

Take care,

Annie
